Fees & Payment

Private Pay Practice

This practice operates as a private pay (self-pay) therapy practice, which means payment for sessions is made directly by clients rather than through insurance billing.

Many clients choose private pay therapy because it offers greater privacy, flexibility in treatment, and the ability to focus fully on your care without the limitations that insurance companies sometimes place on therapy.

Payment is due at the time of each session.

Superbill for Out-of-Network Insurance

Although I do not bill insurance directly, many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits for mental health services. If your plan includes these benefits, you may be able to receive partial reimbursement for therapy sessions.

Upon request, I can provide a monthly superbill, which is an itemized receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Because insurance plans vary, I recommend contacting your provider to ask about:

  • Out-of-network mental health benefits
  • Reimbursement rates for psychotherapy
  • Deductibles and eligibility requirements

HSA and FSA Payment Options

Therapy services are often considered eligible healthcare expenses. Many clients choose to use Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to pay for sessions.

If you have an HSA or FSA card, you may be able to use those funds directly for therapy sessions. A receipt or superbill can also be provided if your plan requires documentation.
